We are an Australian based internet store. Our primary focus is Scrapbooking, Stamping and Mixed Media/Art Supplies. Founded in 2004, Blue Bazaar has a respected and established presence in the creative community.
HOW TO ORDER
We are an internet store and therefore require orders to be made via the website. You only need to set up an account once and then login to this account when you shop each time. By using your account you can be assured that all information that you enter will be received. We will also be able to track your order history.
We have a $10 minimum order value which does not include postage.
We charge a flat rate of $6.95 for most Australian orders. Local customers in the QLD1 region (Brisbane and surrounding suburbs) are charged a flat rate of $5.95.
Orders which include albums, art mediums or oversized items will attract a higher freight charge at actual cost charged by Australia Post. If you wish your order to be sent via Express Post, please contact us to make arrangements.
International customers will pay actual postage costs as determined by Australia Post based on weight/dimension of your order.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, PayPal or direct deposit.
Direct deposit - our bank details will be sent to you via email after placing your order. Goods will be shipped once the funds are received in our bank account. If funds are not received within 48 hours of order placement, your order may be subject to cancellation.
Due to the high number of non paying orders via direct debit, we will not attempt to complete or process your order until funds are received. This may result in items going out of stock in the time between when your order was first submitted and when the funds have cleared our bank account. In the event this occurs you will be issued with a store credit to the value of the item that is out of stock.
Orders are processed in order of receipt. Subject to direct deposit funds clearing our bank account, every effort is made to process all orders within 24-48 hours of receipt.
At this time we do not accept BPAY, Cheque or Money Order as a form of payment.
When submitting your order, a flat rate postage charge of $20.00 is included. International customers will pay actual postage costs as determined by Australia Post based on weight/dimension of your order.
Once a final postage cost is calculated you will receive a request to finalise any additional postage costs above the flat rate.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery (international orders will take longer). We will not be held responsible for packages that are lost, stolen or damaged if they are not registered/insured. Blue Bazaar is not responsible for incorrect addresses used when placing your order. If you have inadvertently used an old address or incorrectly entered a number, etc., we will make every effort to assist you where possible. Additional shipping charges that are required as a result of a special request or an incorrect address will be billed to your credit card as necessary.
OUT OF STOCK/BACKORDERS
We make all attempts to ensure our website contains up to date information on currently stocked items. In the event that an item is out of stock at the time of processing your order, it will be deleted from your order. If we expect the out of stock item to arrive into our store within a short time frame, we will notify you via email. If the required item is not expected within a reasonable time, your order will be sent excluding the out of stock item. You will need to re-order the item as stock is replenished, as we do not keep back orders on file. If any credits result from an out of stock item this credit will be placed against your store account as a credit to use against a future order. Our website will track your available credits and remind you of available balances when you place your next order. If you prefer a refund we will require your bank account details to transfer the credit.
ORDER ISSUES/REFUND POLICY
We make every reasonable effort to ensure the quality and accuracy of your order. We request that you notify us of any order issues within 48 hours of receiving your order. We only accept returned products due to a change of mind if the item exceeds the value of $20.00. In the event you wish to return an item due to a change of mind, we will issue either a store credit or exchange of item. The customer is responsible for any postage costs associated with returning an order based on a change of mind. The item being returned must be in its original packaging and be in a condition that is appropriate for resale. All orders returned based on change of mind will incur a 20% restocking fee which will be deducted from the available store credit.
Gift Certificates may be purchased through the store in various amounts. Physical gift certificates are not issued and instead voucher details are emailed to the recipient. If you are purchasing a gift certificate for someone, please be sure to include the email address of the recipient along with any special messages that you wish to have included.
Each week we produce a newsletter which is stored online on our website. All back issues can be read via the newsletter link. We notify members once our newsletter is online via an emailed “newsletter blast”. All new account holders are automatically added to receive our weekly newsletter blast. We use a third party provider (Mail Chimp) to notify you that our newsletter is available for viewing. Mail Chimp does not access, use or distribute any of your personal information. Mail Chimp provides strict guidelines as to the issue of spam.
Your newsletter details are held separately from your Blue Bazaar account details. If you wish to update or change any part of your details in order to receive the newsletter you must do so via the appropriate links through Mail Chimp which are provided in the newsletter “blast” each week. You may also sign up to receive our newsletter blast by entering your email details via the main shopping page on our website. Contained in the newsletter blast email each week you will find a set of links at the bottom which will enable you to modify your email details or unsubscribe to our newsletter blast.
Please note that any changes to your member details via our website account system do NOT update any changes to receiving the newsletter. Newsletter updates must be made separately.
When you register as a Member, you will create a username and password. The username selected must be unique and acceptable to Blue Bazaar. Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the username and password, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the username and password. Blue Bazaar reserves the right to delete or refuse the registration of any account at any time for any or no reason or to refuse service to anyone at anytime without notice for any reason.
We use a secure server to ensure your information is transmitted safely. The information we request from you is used solely for the purpose of sending orders, receiving payment and informing customers of information relating to Blue Bazaar. No customer credit card details are stored on our server. We will only retain financial information at the request of the customer. Blue Bazaar will not sell or distribute your email address, contact details or any other information about you to any third party.
Due to the scanning process and your screen resolution, colours of products may vary slightly from colours on the site. All information including images of products is copyrighted to Blue Bazaar Pty Ltd or their respective owners. They may not be used or reproduced without written consent. Blue Bazaar Pty Ltd uses trademarked names to present products to the benefit of the trademark owner with no intention of infringement of the trademark. Blue Bazaar Pty Ltd disclaims all liability in relation to the unauthorised reproduction, copying or misuse of the images contained therein.
Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST. The prices listed on the website supersede any previously published prices. Postage and handling costs are additional to listed prices. We endeavor to keep our prices as low as possible. All prices are subject to change in accordance with current foreign exchange rates and other commercial factors. We work hard to deliver cost competitive products to the customer.
VISITING BLUE BAZAAR
Blue Bazaar is an internet store only. We do not have a pick up service available and we are unable to accommodate visitors to our warehouse location.
