In this online workshop Nathalie will show you different techniques on how to improve photos with distracting backgrounds. Nathalie will work with alcohol inks, acrylic paints, water-soluble crayons, LuminArte H2O Twinkling Colors etc.

Before and after treatment of photo.

Above and to the right are 2 layouts I completed using the kit and following Nat’s tips. The first layout above was made using the entire transparency overlay which provided an entire sheet design over the photo. In line with Prima’s recycle focus, I also used the backing card from the overlay sheet which was a plain background with a grid design.

The Fast Car layout above was made using Nat’s technique of changing the background of the photo so that the subject of the photo stood on it’s own. I used Twinkling H20’s to water colour the background around the car.
