Pin Board by Emily Falconbridge

Make a funky 'man gift' with a pin up board! Paint the wooden frame with acrylic paint. I used a large bazill monogram, as well as stickers and HKS chipboard as a stencil/mask to spray paint a custom title for the board. Decorate library pockets and glue/pin to board for a place to tuck bills, notes, money etc. Create funky little pins by super gluing epoxy stickers to the heads of ordinary pins. So many ways you could decorate a board like this - have fun!

We are back, the store is open and we are posting out orders.  The world is spinning again! At the moment we estimate that all new orders made from the 20th September should start going out from Monday.

I have to make a big apology in this newsletter regarding new stock arriving.  We have had the worst luck lately with our orders.  SEI went to Canberra and back to US. Designing with Paper went to Canada first.  Our Rob and Bob order just got plain lost. We are back in track now (I hope!) with all orders accounted for, but it meant we were slow in getting things early for everyone.

Keep an eye on our **NEW categories on the site as all of our delinquent orders come rolling in!  Our BasicGrey lunch pail albums and undressed monograms have shipped.  We hope to have them here by Monday or Tuesday next week.

A quick comment on Leanne’s layout in the BB Gallery spotlight—how amazing!  Leanne says in her comments in the gallery that the picture was slightly altered and then printed directly on to bazzill cardstock.

We posted an image of the new Making Memories totes and bags in the gallery in the past few days.  We are working on pricing at the moment and hope to have these items up for pre-order soon.

Until next week, keep creative!

The SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE is to scrap a bad or unusual photo/s as a focal point on your layout.  The photo may not have turned out the way you wanted to, yet it still tells a story that is worth documenting in your layouts.

To read more on the challenge, visit the Message Board under CHALLENGES/COMPETITIONS.

Closing date 30 September.

Designing With Calendar Challenge:

The new challenges for September are now on the message board. Remember you do not have to own a Designing With Calendar to participate in the challenges as we have set alternative challenges for anyone to complete.

The September Alternatives are:

1. Make a tag or layout about you and all the facets of your life.

2. Use versamark ink to create a subtle pattern or title.

3. Journal about what your favourite song/s mean to you.

4. Get your stamps out and use them on a layout.  Make a card with them too.

To read more on the challenge, visit the Message Board under CHALLENGES/COMPETITIONS.

Closing date is 30 September.
