Thanks to toms mum for the inspiration this week in the BB Gallery spotlight. I loved this layout for the ’freestyle’ approach to journaling about yourself. The June monthly kits are ready to mail out tomorrow. Below are some close up images of Elizabeth’s kit which is a Bazzill Envelope booklet. This months kit includes a bleach pen and instructions on how to add some unique touches to your project using bleach. |

Designing With Calendar Challenge: The new challenges for June are on the message board. Remember you do not have to own a Designing With Calendar to participate in the challenges as we have set alternative challenges for anyone to complete. The June Alternatives are: 1. Combine old and new photos on a layout. 2. Create a border with stamps and ribbon. 3. Dress up an envelope and use it on a layout. 4. Dig out your stickers and use a large section as an accent. Photography Scavenger Hunt. Each Monday a new clue will be posted in the photography challenges section. Each clue will help you complete the entire scavenger hunt. The last item will be posted on 26th June and the winner will be announced 30th June. In total there are at least 10 photos that you will take. PRIZES: 1st—Fresco Tile Kit or Coaster Kit (winners choice) 2nd and 3rd prize—1 25 sheet pack of Ilford Photo paper. Monthly Challenge: The JUNE CHALLENGE is set by Lisa this month and involves 3 great ideas to incorporate into your layout. 1. use a paisley pattern somewhere on your layout. 2. Use something lumpy on your layout, at least 5mm thick 3. Start with the journaling FIRST. Grab your photo and create your journaling first then delve into your stash to finish your layout off.
