This weeks newsletter is HUGE!! Finally some of our exciting and secret plans are becoming a reality and we are finally spilling the beans!! BB KITS: We are excited to announce that we will now be offering a monthly BB Kit. The BB kit will be designed by Design Team member Elizabeth Munro each month. Elizabeth is a long time lover of paper crafts and all things interesting, so our kits will typically offer you an opportunity to create a unique item to have fun with. The BB Kit will be offered on a 3 month and 6 month subscription basis. You will be charged for your kit at the time we post it out to you from the 15th of each month. We will also offer kits on a one off basis but we will not restock kits once they are sold out. Our first kit is LIMITED so be sure to place your order now! July’s kit and the monthly subscriptions will be available for purchase on the site under a new category BB Kits. Please note subscription based orders will receive the July Kit first. If you wish to purchase the July kit as a one off item, we will advise if we have sufficient stocks left. Each month we will add the new kit to our site. We will only show an image of the end project itself as a teaser of the kit contents. Designing With Calendar Challenge: The new challenges for July are now on the message board. Remember you do not have to own a Designing With Calendar to participate in the challenges as we have set alternative challenges for anyone to complete. The July Alternatives are: 1. use paint chips to create fun accents. 2. See how many photos you can fit on a layout. 3. Make faux postage or use ready made postage stamps on a layout. 4. ONE DAY IN A SCRAPBOOK WORLD: Blue Bazaar is holding an amazing photographic competition ONE DAY IN A SCRAPBOOK WORLD. The aim is for all scrappers to take photographs on 14th August then post your BEST IMAGE only to the ONE DAY gallery that will be set up on the website just prior to the day. We would love to create a snap shot of life all over Australia and New Zealand on that special date. A panel of judges including renowned scrapbooker Rachel Richter will award some fantastic prizes. There will also be a peoples choice vote through a poll on the website. Important Dates: 1. Photographs to be taken on Sunday the 14th of August 2. Upload by Wednesday the 31st August to the gallery. 3. Winners announced on Wednesday 7th September. Prizes: Prize awarded by judging panel is Epson Picture Mate valued at $300. BB Amazing Scrapbooking Race: We are excited to announce the details of a BRAND NEW COMPETITION we are running at Blue Bazaar. PART ONE of the BB Amazing Scrapbooking Race begins on Wednesday 20th July on the Message Board by arranging teams to compete in the race. We will announce the finer details to get you started on this fun and crazy journey on that date also. We have some fantastic prizes on offer with our competition: EVERY PERSON who starts AND finishes the race will receive a Chatterbox Mug. A little something to quench your thirst with after such a grueling race! The winning team with the highest points at the end of the race will receive a $100 Blue Bazaar Shopping Voucher. The most favourite project, as voted by BBer’s will win a 12x12 or 8.5x11 Scrapworks Album (your choice of size).
