Congratulations to Lynita and Tania for their winning photo’s in the ONE DAY Photography competition. Lynita has won herself an Epson Picture Mate printer and Tania has won a $150 BB Shopping Voucher. This was such a great competition and I look forward to running it again next year. We are giving an extra early sneak peek of the September BB Kit. Below you will see 2 versions of how you can complete the kit this month. Of course you can add extra bits like wire and charms to decorate your bottles also. They look great empty or filled with coloured water or maybe even coloured sand. Today on the message board we have announced our Design Team Scraps for You competition. This was a great competition we ran this time last year. I hope to see just as much silliness as last time too! We have set up a thread on the message board for you to check in. Your check in is considered as your entry. We will be closed from tomorrow until 20th September. All details regarding orders and email contact is on the front page of the website. The next newsletter will be available on the 22nd September. Monthly Challenge: The SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE is to scrap a bad or unusual photo/s as a focal point on your layout. The photo may not have turned out the way you wanted to, yet it still tells a story that is worth documenting in your layouts. Designing With Calendar Challenge: The new challenges for September are now on the message board. Remember you do not have to own a Designing With Calendar to participate in the challenges as we have set alternative challenges for anyone to complete. The September Alternatives are: 1. Make a tag or layout about you and all the facets of your life. 2. Use versamark ink to create a subtle pattern or title. 3. Journal about what your favourite song/s mean to you. 4.
